Friendly, friendly service. Nice rooms, comfortable beds and pillows. And, most importantly, clean rooms! Great food too! 2nd time staying here and will be back. Valet parking is relatively inexpensive and also quick.
Our stay was for a week, we were in town for a family funeral. The heat did not work, which was a major issue with us being from Hawaii, in the dead of North Carolina winter. We were not offered other accomodations, instead being told it was fixed for four days straight. On the fifth day we were given a space heater. Housekeeping was spotty. In the end I cleaned the room myself. Still trying to adjust the bill.
Older hotel but seems to be recently updated with mostly aesthetic upgrades. New paint, etc. Nice location close to dining and entertainment. Do have to valet cars.
Pretty good accommodations right downtown close to plenty of great places to eat and visit. My only knock would be is their fitness room lacks for a full service hotel and their newly opened M Club lacks decent dinner hor'derves and dessert offerings as well as the club is not very noise isolated from the main lobby and restaurant noise.
Hotel was in a great location. Room was clean and the breakfast was very good. The door to the bathroom was a bit odd. It was a glass barn style door and did not do a good job at giving anyone in the bathroom privacy. Our specifically would not even stay closed and kept opening itself (room 913). Other than this our hotel room was very clean and had plenty of room. If coming to Durham again I would not have an issue staying here again.
