Terrible service. The worst part is we read the reviews and hoped it would be different, yet experienced exactly what the reviews said. Within the 30 minutes we were there we only got our drinks, which were the crazily sweet/sour dollar LIT they had. We didn't get those until 23 minutes after waiting at the table. We ended up returning them for waters because they were soooo bad! Pretty sure some of the waitresses were drinking, and others were in the back just talking. Sad to see. We left without getting our food. We had a wonderful dinner at Outback Steakhouse across the street though!
Filthy. We sat the bat for a drink. Had to ask the bartender to clean the bar. She grab the wet rag and wrung it out on the floor behind the bar. O ly cleaned where we were sitting. The rest of the bar was disgusting. So many dirty dishes. I'm totally disgusted with Applebee's. I'm turning them into the health department. If the bar was that disgusting. I can't even imagine what the kitchen looked like.
Best part of our visit? our server was friendly. Everything else wasn't the best. When our food came, the person that brought it didn't ask if we needed anything else.... no plates, no silverware. When we finally got silverware it was plastic, the kind in the little plastic bag that you get for to go orders. Our wonton tacos hardly had anything on them and what was on them was mostly slaw. The dollar margarita deal is just sugar water in a little plastic cup. Not worth getting but that seems to be a problem company wide, not what they advertise. I have been to many Applebees, this one isn't worth going to. Take the extra time to drive to a different one.
Went to have the dollar margaritas. First off there was no alcohol at all in them. I ordered a medium rare steak....well done comes to the table. Had to wait 30 mins and that's not too bad but I ended up sending my steak back and taking the replacement home. Just should have drank at home and ordered for pickup. Last time going to Applebees.
We came to Applebee's at 8pm on Saturday. It wasn't busy and there were more servers on the floor than customers. No server came to greet us or take our drink orders. After waiting 15 minutes for someone to come to our table, I stopped a passing server and asked if he could send our server out. He went to find our server. 10 minutes later we still hadn't received any service so we let the manager know and left. I haven't been to an Applebee's in over 10 years. The items on the menu looked good. I'm really disappointed I didn't get to try any.
