Zippy did an outstanding job with a recent move from Greensboro to San Francisco. Arnetia Curtis, Relocation Manager, was always very responsive and helpful as plans were made. And Bob Rube and his assistant, who performed the packup and loading here in Greensboro, were extremely professional, efficient, and very pleasant to work with. They were also very good about accommodating my own process of inventorying what was being packed up. I would highly recommend the Zippy team to anyone with moving plans!
I have moved several times in the last 15 years (this would be a logistical nightmare) and have never had a better experience than using Zippyshell in Durham. My experience with Zippy Shell could not have been any better. I was having floors done and needed to get furniture out of the house. Andrew had a nice clean container parked in my drive-way earlier than scheduled. It could not have been easier. Drop-off and pick-up has been a breeze. And the customer service provided by Andrew has been excellent. 5-star service.
Fast forward to June 2017.delivery of my shell at my new address. It took a few calls due to number changes but when I reached Andrew Weish , the Durham site Manager, I was impressed. He verified numbers to contact him. My date and unpacking help was set up in one conversation. The moving help also contacted me as promised that day. 2 days before delivery in June my new property was stuck by lightning. I called Andrew to cancel but couldn't reschedule until I knew the damage extent. Andrew was first very concerned that my family was ok. Then, he reassured me that when I had a new date, he would personally handle the setup. Customer service by this gentleman was outstanding. No cancellation fees, just kindness. I find this refreshing in our growing RTP area. Final word..forget the other options ..Zippy service was great including the drivers who had HOA rules to follow and tight spaces to maneuver. Call and ask for Andrew..you won't be disappointed.
Dealing with the new management staff and Andrew has been horrible. The corporate office one price and this Andrew person something higher by $20.00. I had to contact the DC office several times before I could get a hold of him.. He is rude and very unprofessional. I'm just trying to get my pod delivered so I can remove my items. The prices have went up multiple times and I am just ready to end this relationship with this new staff.
May 2016 i sold a house quickly and needed storage at one of the busiest times to move! ZIppy arrived as scheduled and provided a list of loading help that I needed. Not required.you can do it all yourself at your own pace..I needed my shell loaded and removed the same day, usually zippy will drop off and comes back..they worked with my special circumstances! . It went well. I applied my lock and off Zippy went to storage. Then it dawned on me.. I had no paper work in hand verifying this except photos of loading. All was fine after verifying with local storage in Durham.
