Visited Rooms To Go in Durham on 11/1 was immediately greeted by Aaron Tant! Aaron assisted us with a few questions and let us roam around, which i love, i can not stand to be followed around! We made our decision, Aaron finished our purchase and i cant wait for the delivery which is 11/8. Aaron has great knowledge of his products and i will definitely return to purchase from him!

We used the dining room set just for holidays and moved two years after the purchase and started using it regularly. The leg on one of the chairs cracked and was not repairable. I found that the bolts had to be tightened regularly. Went to the store and spoke to the manager and received no sympathy at all. The rest of the stuff is holding up but we paid a lot for this furniture and it is sad that two pieces broke so soon and the customer service department and store didn't care at all. We will not buy from them again.

My wife and I downsized to an apartment. We bought all of the furniture from Rooms to Go in Raleigh. This included two full bedroom sets, couch, side & coffee tables and dining room table set. Just after one year the coffee table base cracked. They came out and said that I was SOL because the one year warranty had just expired.

Since most of the replies from RTG ask for the order number I included it.

The Sales rep was very nice and tried to give us the lowest prices possible. He stayed with us the whole time and we were in the Showroom for about 2hrs. We bought the set we liked and it was the best choice. Is comfy and beautiful. We loved the service and products.

Aaron our sales rep was terrific. He was very patient as I had him show me every living room that fit my criteria. He was very patient and informative. Was a pleasant experience. Can't wait to get our new furniture

Update: Got contacted and offered a one time courtesy parts order after I had already purchased a repair motor part. I was also told it could take up to 90 days if the part wad not in stock. How could they not have parts that are used in all of their power furniture somewhat handy? Baffles the mind. I am still waiting for delivery, but my check cleared so I guess at least one part might show up eventually. I really miss being able to use my sofa....sigh.

Had a relatively positive experience with the purchase and delivery of a $1300 leather power duel reclining sofa. (Cindy Crawford Home collection) I am an engineer and was concerned about the durability of the motor parts. I asked the sales rep if they had many issues. I was told no. I didn't do my research and trusted what I was told. Shame on me for not being more suspicious of a salesman. Now I see that the customer service for this company is always getting ripped a new one online. I had not expected my defective motor to be replaced as I had purchased the sofa 16 months ago. Silly me for expecting it to last longer than than I guess. However my biggest complaint is that I emailed customer service asking for trouble shooting tips or parts information. I got an email back today saying that the item was not in warranty and that I should find a furniture repair place. No help identifying a reputable service provider and no mention of parts. I also took the time to call them in person. The lady that helped me was super helpful and gave me my order number, purchase date, and sent me a parts order form for the $88 motor to repair the sofa. I was shocked that the email contained no offer of parts or any other help. Frankly they have probably lost me as a customer for life now simply due to the crappy email I got basically saying I was screwed and they wanted nothing to do with helping me to fix my $1300 sofa. Since I bought the power option, it is basically unusable on one side now. I'm going through the trouble to write this hoping that other people will avoid making the same mistake as me. I suggested that RTG might consider making repair parts (specially these motors and power supplies) easier to find and order online. Funny thing is I had to write them a paper check and mail it to Florida. The lady told me that when the check cleared they would order the part and ship it to me. I don't know for sure, but I am expecting it to show up in maybe a few weeks and with little to no instructions on how to install it. BUYER BEWARE.
