Like any other Macy’s, this Macy’s store located on Fayetteville Road, Durham is very spacious and selling lot of daily use and other items on competitive rates. Some of its deals on Black Friday were really attractive and lot of people can be seen struggling to grab deals of their likes. Lot of free parking space. The store is too big to move around in one go. On Black Friday, its staff handle buyers in a friendly manner. Overall a very good experience always to visit Macy’s nearby. Its hours on Black Friday are 6 am to 10 pm; on other day, it is generally 10 am to 9 pm on weekdays and 8 am to 10 pm on Saturday and 10 am to 8 pm on Sunday. One can find all major branded stores here which includes Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, Levis, Tommy etc. one can see wide variety of housewares, gifts, furnitures, shoes and a variety of other day to day items. Travis took SUCH good care of us!! He helped finding sizes, checked up on us, & checked us out at the register. He went the extra mile for us today & we really appreciated him. We usually don't shop at Macy's, but we will be coming back because of him!! He deserves a raise. Thank you Macy's for having such an awesome employee!
Worst Macy's store I have visited so far. Purchased bed sheets with mattress cover. The package says king but bed sheets inside were queen. The mattress cover was king but rest everything queen. On second trip I went to buy shoes. No one was there in men's section to help bring shoes from inside. After 10 mins one woman comes and brings me wrong shoes. Before I open the box she was gone. Waited for another 15 min and then a gentleman helped me get the right shoes. I went downstairs to shop for few more items and then proceeded to checkout. The woman at women's shoe section starting asking weird questions. Where did you get this shoe. Who gave it to you etc. overall customer service is very laid back and casual.
I bought a Fossil watch for my husband at Macy in Durham, NC (South Point Mall). One of the Macy employee's who works in the watch department was very patience with my order. I appreciate Meghan, for holding my item. The only problem I do have, if I want to buy / look for a Fossil watch, do not suggest a Citizen watch. Do not underestimate what you think people don't have.
