Awful food, subpar service, will not done again.
Do yourself a favor, unless your part of the Penn State thing they have going on there stay away, it's not worth the time or money.
They have great food, and service. Taylor is great at what she does, very pleasant and accommodating. I recommend a raise for Taylor.
The wife and I were wondering if the floor around our table was made of lava due to how fast the waitress moved away from our table.
I had a burger and didn't eat the bun. The burger was good, but l just wasn't hungry for the bread. The owner came out and was concerned, because he saw the bun go back and thought I didnt eat the burger at all. It was nice that he was so attentive and concerned.
Waitress jotted down our order, didn't see her again until she dropped off the bill.
Just ordered food from here through Grub Hub. Never EVER again! We received our delivery but our two entrees (an Italian grinder and a veggie burger) were not with the order. All that was delivered was an order of chips / guacamole, a (very) small Greek salad, and a box of fries. I called Grub Hub to request that they re-deliver our order (the fries were nearly inedible---cold and flabby). They, in turn, called the restaurant and spoke with somebody named Damon who said that he sent out our food and that I "never would have just gotten a box of fries." He called me a liar. CALLED ME A LIAR, AND GRUB HUB BELIEVED HIM! No offer to replace the food, no offer to refund or try to placate the customer; he just called me a liar. Like I am some kind of derelict trying to score a free veggie burger! What happened to The Customer Is Always Right??? what happened to customer service? what happened to common courtesy?? Eventually, after speaking with 3 levels of customer service at Grub Hub, we were issued a refund. Guess it's Domino's tonight. At least we know our food will arrive and we won't be accused of lying. Rookie's doesn't deserve your patronage---take your money somewhere where they have some respect for their customers.
Pizza buffet during lunch is good for quick meals with co-workers. Decent atmosphere for beers after work. Location is convenient to a couple hotels, but not very 'hip.'
They also had a gose beer on tap. That was a pleasant surprise.
