Ok first of all..I just want to start off that Francesca's is a pretty cute boutique. It's not amazing...and its prices are too expensive for the quality of most of their clothes (most are made of polyester). But you can get some cute jewelry there that is a bit more unique than a lot of the chain brands.
Edit: I just found out that the older blond lady who was so rude is actually the manager! So when I called to complain, I didn't have anyone to complain to! Horrible!
That said, I have never been treated so rudely by any staff in my LIFE. And I am not the kind of person who will just write bad reviews of places, especially in this economy. But I really felt I had to today. Basically. I dropped by Francesca's because there was a top online that I wanted to see if they had in the store. It was the first time I went into the store and it will definitely be my last. When I asked the older woman if they had a top and started to describe it, she rolled her eyes and said "it could be anywhere here. I don't know!" When I asked if I could show it to her online, she said "I don't have access to an online website, sorry." She then walked away. So I had to ask the other girl who worked there, who again, treated me like I was taking up her time. When I finally dragged her over to the shirt rack with me, she did help a bit. But when I asked her if a top she pulled out was silk because that's what the top online was made of, she literally SNAPPED "how am I supposed to know! I'm just trying to find the style you wanted!" Wow. Sorry about that. She finally did offer to look it up online for me, which was hilarious, considering that the older woman had lied and told me that she didn't have a website. Lol. When I was standing next to the younger woman pointing out the top, the older woman stared me down and said "what is she doing back here!" Yes, I am NOT making this up! So I moved away from her and showed her the top online, which she didn't have. And then I left. Two minutes. I have never left a store so quickly because I was treated so rudely. I would rather commute up to Raleigh and check out the shop there then enter into that store again where the workers were clearly not trained to treat their customers with class and respect!
Store clerk informed me that they do not accept returns in store for online orders. The policy on the website says they accept returns in-store. Clerk seemed unsure, did not bother to check on the policy, and then concluded that they do not accept returns for online orders. Do you think you guys can hire girls OLDER than 18 or at least hire girls with brains? This will be the first and last time I order from Francescas Collections. Their online team and in-store teams clearly do not communicate about their policies. Unprofessional.
