Generally very positive experience with oncology and Dr. Arthur. However, weekend staffing has been difficult to work with in the duration of my dogs treatment for cancer. On a few occasions the weekend vet techs have been anywhere from negligent in losing track of a request for prescription promised over the phone to a plain wrong recommendation on surgical advice. With persistence everything has worked out, though. The main issue seems to be weekend staff's inability to recognize the difference in relationship with an ongoing chemo patient and a walk-in emergency patient. After spending 5 months undergoing chemo it's frustrating to call in and have a weekend vet tech ignore the medical records that are well documented in the system. Dr. Arthur and Tyrone have been great to work with directly.

Professional staff, fast service, not overpriced. My pug broke her jaw while I was at work. I called Triangle Vet Referral, took her in, and they assessed her on a Sunday night around 10 pm. That alone speaks volumes considering most vets aren't open on weekends or after hours. The staff are kind and considerate and experts at what they do. I'm so thankful.

The receptionist ladies were very nice and understanding they got my puppy and I a room very quickly my puppy was seen and diagnosed quickly as well. The doctors and nurses helped me understand everything and answered all my questions without rushing me. Thank you for taking great care of my baby Stella!

Extremely kind this location helped my mother when she lost her dog. They were all so kind and sweet with her.

24 hour emergency vet establishments are generally not happy places. For the most part you go there when something terrible is happening, and needling at the back of your mind is concern over how much it's going to cost, then guilt over thinking about money when it's your pet's life on the line... all that said, this place is the best case scenario. They do doggy chemo and specialist visits and such, so it's not all trauma and emergency all the time. I haven't personally had experience with any of the specialists except for Dr. Myers, who does cardiology. She really knows what she's doing, and she tells it to you like it is without pressuring you overmuch. The people who work at the front desk have been extremely considerate and helpful every time I have been in except once... which has been about fifteen times total. The waiting room is clean and nice. Of the local emergency vets, I absolutely recommend this one.
