Started as a great experience with my dog whom we had to put to sleep. Took our new puppy back a couple months later, and it’s been nothing but issues since. To start- the technician (not the doctor) recommended my puppy have a PARVO test done BEFORE speaking to the doctor. Mind you- my puppy was HAPPY, HEALTHY, THRIVING at 40lbs at 12 weeks. He had diarrhea due to travel and dietary changes. But she immediately jumped to Parvo. My dog had no fever. No trouble eating. Not lethargic. He had no sign of Parvo except diarrhea. But he had just flown on a plane two days before and was adjusting to a new home, new animals and new humans. He has had shots. Fast forward a few days after spending roughly $160 on a weekend visit for exam, fluids, meds, they call us to say “we forgot to charge you” for something. How money hungry do you need to be? We just spent $800 in September to euthanize our dog. We came back for the excellent service we received. Now, your technician makes an ILLEGAL comment about my new puppy and Parvo (which I should take to the board and AAHA) and you completely ruin any trust we had in you, and you have the nerve to ask for that $20?! Now today, after finally weaning my puppy off chicken and rice and back to his puppy food (Royal Canin) I call to tell you he has some diarrhea again. I think it is his food causing it, so we are going to switch his food. But we need more meds to help him clear up. But no- Dr. Hunt says we have to see him. You JUST saw him one week ago. For the same thing. Any veterinarian will tell you it could be numerous things. Could be a parasite- but he’s had two fecals which were both negative. It could be giardia, which would require a test be sent out for results. It definitely isn’t Parvo- because my puppy would be dead by now. So, maybe it’s his food. Well it takes a few days to change his food over. The NICE and SMART thing to do would’ve been giving him another course of metronidazole while we change his food. But no, you have to see him for another $70 exam and probably make me run more tests than necessary all to find out he either has a simple adversion to Royal Canin or he has giardia. Which is so common it’s almost guaranteed. My dog is FINE. He plays, he sleeps, he barks, he chases the cats. I am seriously appalled at the level of care we have received since having to put our J down in September. I’m in my right mind to call the board and AAHA. This is ridiculous. Your vets should take a look at the oath they took when they decided to be vets.
I was from out of town and was able to get a same day appointment.
Excellent service and extremely competent staff .
I really appreciated the prompt and courteous service. I will definitely use again should the need arise.
They take care of my baby kitties for all their needs. When I board the two spoiled bundles of fur I know they are safe and taking good care of. They even don't laugh when I call to check on them..in fact they let me talk to them. The staff is always friendly and helpful ....they even put up with my Nas who likes to let them know he does not want to be touched ...just drop the food and step away from the door ...while showing them his Freddy cougar knives. Yeah they put up with that
This place is the BEST!! The doctors are thorough and extremely considerate of my pet. The office staff who assist the docs are highly responsive to needs, courteous and efficient. I would recommend this practice to anyone.
I was turned down at my vet due to a booked appointment schedule, and was referred to Park Vet since I had a dog emergency! Not only were they able to fit me in to their schedule within minutes in their packed morning, but they also take walk-ins which is convenient. Amidst a hectic and scary morning fo ray dog, they made me feel very comfortable. I did not wait much and was attended by an amazing doctor and nurses who all seemed very knowledgeable and sympathetic. I felt comfortable talking and discussing my options which led to emergency surgery for my pet:( which was the following morning. At discharge, they went over post-op care and were very sympathetic and understanding. They made the process way easier. The doctor herself, Dr. Gonzalez, called me herself after surgery to update me.
