First time at this theatre and was impressed. They are so reasonable with the prices. You save money by having everyone go to the concession stand and order show tickets and food. I don't mind doing that because the show prices were cheap. The theatre is clean and popcorn was fresh. The movies are current so this place is a little gem.
Love the upgrades to sound systems and more comfy chairs, roomier. Staff always nice and acomadating. Snacks & drinks are still outrageous but that's never gonna change. Over all very nice, clean movie theater. Free parking and wheel chair accessible
The sound system in several of their theaters is unforgivably bad. I watched a couple of movies here, and the sound was always dropping out. Even when the sound was working "properly", the music was so quiet it might as well have been subliminal. I complained, but what can they do? It's a chain, the corporation has to take an interest if they're going to fix the equipment.
I arrived 20 minutes early just so I wouldn't be late and could not enter the viewing area until literally 2 minutes before the movie was scheduled to start. In which made the movie run longer than usual. The little girl, yes, I said little girl working the concession stand needs a real attitude adjustment. I asked if they had any bottled drinks other than the water in the glass case and she pointed down there. I said ok, I'll take a Pepsi. She said we don't have pepsi in the bottle. I said, that's what I just asked you. She stood still like she had to take a deep breath, I left her line. I don't have the patience for that type of foolery and piss poor customer service. Meet with your cleaning crew and concession cashiers about prompt and pleasant customer service period.
I love coming here when I get my FREE movie tickets from the UNC Blood Donation Center. If you bring just one other person to donate with you they will give you each an AMC ticket!! Saving lives and getting free stuff? Yes please
