This place is an excellent model of how a community should share its wealth and resources. The volunteers here are very skilled and extremely helpful. I really like their "earn a bike" program, and in addition, my son earned a free bike. Once you are a member, you can come during hours of operation and work on your bike using all the tools and equipment here at no cost(except for purchased parts), and skilled volunteers are willing to help you fix whatever you working on. Every cyclist in Durham should definitely be part part of this.
