When I showed up at 12:20 for my 12:30 appointment, I was rudely greeted by the auto service desk (after she was talking down to someone on the phone). They told me it was going to be 2 hours with a shrug. I told them I was told 15 minutes and they laughed and said “yeah, our call center said that, not us,” assuming by blaming someone else, it would mitigate the issue.

After charging me over $965.00 for parts and labor, the mechanic figured out that it was something else causing the problem. He started questioning me about how did the Apex mechanic detect a freon leak. Suddenly it wasn't a freon leak problem it was a Compressor problem. I was quoted another $1400.00 to fix that problem. No apologies for my inconvenience. All I got from the supervisor was justification for what have occurred.

Took my vehicle in on 8-4-17 for a leak today the problem is worst. The mechanic did not understand how to reassemble my Nissan Xterra; in attempting parts were left off my SUV. Also the electrical component were completely screwed up. My key fobs haven't work since I dropped off my vehicle. I wasted a second day returning my SUV for them to figure out how to put it back together properly.

BE SURE TO ASK FOR GIA!! Gia is the best, my wife has taken her car to her several times, once she had a tire that was leaking air and i took it to FIVE other shops and no one could "find" it. So we took it to Gia and left it with her for the day. They found the leak and fixed it for us! They picked my wife up from work and everything. Today was the exact same great service, my wife dropped off the vehicle, they took her to work. Gia than called me to inform me of things that were needed soon and things that we needed to keep an eye on in the future, she didnt try to "force" me to "buy" anything from her. Long story short, we trust Gia to treat us fairly and to be honest with us.

Durham AAA did not diagnose my vehicle before attempting to fix a leak. The mechanic took the recommendation of an Apex AAA mechanic and went from that. Conveniently that two page write up was discarded, along with another receipt of work done prior.

As a AAA member, I think I’m officially through. It isn’t just this day, this is sort of the direction AAA has been going the last decade or so. I took my car across the street without an appointment and got my NC inspection done in about 10 min with no appointment.

Went here for an alignment on a 94 Integra. Initially they were helpful. They were able to locate a leaky rotor seal and engine plug and helped generate some paperwork I needed. Had some work done on the rear (new bushings) and came back for the alignment. When I got the car back one of the wheels was off camber alignment by 1 degree. They said don't worry about it initially but when I looked into it I found out this was a serious problem. Then they agreed saying that it would cause me to go through one tire per year due to improper wear and said the car had frame damage. I called a frame shop who referred me to Walker's garage in Durham who check it and redid the alignment adjusting the upper camber kit and was able to perfectly align it. The mechanic apparently had not installed the camber kit exactly right so it needed a tweak. There was no frame damage whatsoever. I went back and demanded a refund for the alignment fix and they refused so I had to dispute the charge. They also wanted to sell me a tire where they could have just reversed the tire on a rotation to see if it would improve. Left an oil puddle on my floor mat. Manager called me about negative review, refunded money and asked me to delete review. Didn't seem very enthusiastic about preventing future problems.

If you don't know cars very well, I highly recommend you compare price with other car repair company around here

Made my appointment for a simple car inspection. Was told that it would be about 15 minutes when I made the appointment on the phone.
