I came into the ER on Monday after having terrible abdomen pain the whole weekend and was admitted for Pancreatitis. The staff on 6A were absolutely AMAZING... I can’t remember all of their names but TK, Dion, Anna, Sarah and Andrea are just a few of the Angels that took care of me ( I apologize for not remembering everyone). I really wanted to be home but if I had to be in the hospital I’m glad they were there. Thank you so much for your kindness, patience and encouraging words the WHOLE time I was there, you were awesome!!!
I was seen right away and each step of the process was explained in detail.
They made me comfortable, Physically and emotionally, while care was administered.
Great place for veterans. Workload for staff seems too much though. Long wait line and shortage of staffing. But it's always good to see a place serving veterans.
If I could give negative stars I would. I've had multiple issues here and today called in a prescription refill THREE hours ago. Here I am sitting in the waiting area waiting for them to fill it. Nothing but bad service and care is what we have experienced. My husband didn't put his life on the line to be treated like this. Will be transferring him to a different veterans hospital ASAP
I called to make an appointment in Raleigh. The Raleigh clinic split up recently so I was transferred to the Durham hospital. Here they got my information and told me that some one would contact me in up 5-7 days. That is just to tell me what VA facility I can go to and assign me to a doctor..... Why? I have been to the VA last year to have other medical attention, why cant my I continue to go to the facility that is closer to me or the one I prefer? But really, 5-7 DAY!!! just for someone to tell me where to go.... how much thought needs to go into that? I just wanted to make an appointment for a week from today.
The ER staff got me right in. They were professional and attentive as ALWAYS!
