I love this grocery store. Its always so very clean and well stocked with all my favorite items. Great produce selection, very fresh and clean. Deli is always smelling so good and has a varied and unique selection of quality items and cheeses. Staff are really outgoing and very helpful. The cashiers are very friendly and quick at checking you out and getting you on your way.
Jeff & Amy in Pharmacy are the best! Pizza dept could be better, Sandwich/Deli are great! Floor staff could be more helpful (IE...SHOW me where an item is instead of saying where it is when I ask for help finding an item.)
Decent grocery store, helpful staff. Prices a little higher than the competition, good produce and meats. Clean and well organized
I went to Harris Teeter today on lunch break (30mins) to get a cup of soup because I felt like I was coming down with a cold. There were NO LIDS TO ANY OF THE CUPS. I did not realize this until I had poured the soup in the cup. I looked around, and there were 7 employees, 3 were making sandwiches, 1 was talking to a customer at the pizza counter, 1 was putting out bread, 1 was helping a blind customer, and 1 was putting out produce. I went to the one putting out bread, she looked around and saw others were busy, just as she was, but she told me to hold on a minute. I'm still holding the cup of HOT soup in my hands. She never went and got lids, so I left soup on Salad Bar and walked out, thankfully Subway was next door. Harris Teeter is self serve, Subway is not, I thought I could have saved time by going to Harris Teeter, it took NO TIME for Subway to get me a cup of soup.
I really like this Harris Teeter in particular because it's not that far from home. I've been going there for a while so I know where everything is located they don't move the store around continuously like some supermarkets I've been to where I have to do a lot of walking just to find these items I need. Everybody is always very helpful I'm sort of handicapped and they always offer to put items into my car for me which I appreciate even though I don't always take them up on it. But the service is there and I appreciate it. Store is always clean and items are easy to locate. The restrooms are very nice and clean too.
