If I could go lower I would. Me and my cousin have been waiting for two hours now. The train has been delayed twice and I feel like because this is our first time, this is NOT a good experience for us. And they only go the one star because the people at the window are nice.
Don't really write reviews for places too often, but I had a train that was supposed to leave at 5:50pm this evening and it is currently 9:40pm and the train is still being delayed. ☹️ Nice facility and nice people, but they should have a better system in place for these types of occurrences. FREE DRINKS OR SOMETHING FOR THIS LONG WAIT... DANG. Lol. I'm not mad, but just thought I should share my experience. #donttrusttrains
Very clean, open station. Friendly attentive staff. Free parking but spaces are limited. You do need to get a ticket to put on your dashboard so you won't get towed.
A surprisingly good local train station. Beautiful architecture, good amenities, snack and drink machines, and helpful staff. A classic platform with a good view of Durham.
This station is near the 11foot8 bridge. Many trains can be delayed because of the truck drivers or the driver of the big bus at Gregson Street doesn't pay attention.
