You can Take Me Out to the Ballgame any day. My experience here has been awesome. Whatever you're looking for a great baseball game, a great experience, a great opportunity to go hang out with friends people who you don't know and just get out and do something it's just literally so American this is what you do. You come here. I come here.
Great views, great food and affordable pricing for America’s favorite past time. My dad and I enjoy a game every time he is in town and he quite enjoys it as well. Days the $1 section is open, go for it! Not a bad seat anywhere in this ballpark.
The last point is when you have children with you there is a play center for them BUT THAT IS AN ADDITIONAL COST, not included in the admission price. Making a visit for those with families more costly then it needs to be.
The second and most important reason is that I was seated front row at the third base line. I took a hard direct hit from a foul ball. I had to be taken out by wheel chair. Two inches higher on my chest and I wouldn't be here reviewing. Their insurance company was slow to pay my medical bill.
Honestly this is a five star venue. I'm giving it only 1 star because of three things. When I went it was my first visit to a baseball park and I am not a fan of baseball.
This and every other like it should have enough sense to put up protective netting before anyone else gets seriously injured.
Great minor league venue. Lots of good places to eat nearby. Not a bad view in the house.
I have been going to Bulls games since they were at the old park. The DBAP is great, and improving all the time. This year, however, I had one huge issue. During one game, we got seats under the awning in the upper deck. The seats were new and soft...and TINY! I am plus sized, and I was incredibly uncomfortable. It was painful to sit there. Getting up and sitting down required some fancy squishing. Even the more average sized gentleman in front of us had a tight fit. The older seats are just fine, but the new seats should come with a warning. That aside, there's not a bad seat in the stadium. If you like the other aspects of going to a game, there's plenty to see and lots of between inning entertainment. And if you go for the baseball, the 2017 Minor League champs and farm team for the Tampa Bay Rays do not disappoint. With the famous bull and the hand operated scoreboard, this urban ball park has something for everyone.
