If you’re looking at these reviews, and are concerned about the older, low ratings, please disregard them. Our toddler has been going here for a year and we love it. The teachers have all been great and caring, and we’ve only had positive experiences. In fact, we truly believe this school has helped accelerate our child in reaching developmental milestones.

This place was great when Susan was running it. Since the new management it has gone down hill. It's chaotic and not very nourishing. The teachers are young, some just graduated from college and that is not a problem if they had some kind of chemistry with the kids, but some of them are even lacking that. The hygiene on the other hand is another issue. Our child went there for not even a full semester and we had to take him out and make other arrangements. I went there a couple of times while the classes were in session and I have to tell you the bathrooms are probably cleaned once a week or every other week. It is not just pee or anything accidental that is expected at a daycare, but having a black mildew circle around the toilet, by the water line, it is just not acceptable. Another example that comes to mind is the pillows that they offer to kids for nap time. They not only look dirty and have been used by numerous kids and probably never been washed, but they leave them on the floor in the corner somewhere. During nap time kids grab them and use them but they are not assigned and have no pillow cases on them. Academically it is a disaster. At the beginning of the school year they give you a lesson plan with all these nice things listed on them telling you what they are going to teach. My child didn't even learn a song from this place let alone anything else. We got him situated at a different preschool and oh my God what a difference!!! He is just a different child! During the time that he attended Greenwood he started having bad tantrums and did not like going to school. Initially he was fine and midway he hated it. As I said this place used to be very nice, my little nephews went there 7-10 years ago and that was the main reason we took our child there, but it is definitely not the same anymore. If you are looking for a nourishing and safe environment for your little one and expect for him/her to learn new skills this is not the place. Do not make the same mistake we made!!!

There are a few individuals working here who have no business whatsoever working with children of any age. It is a complete developmental set back for our child. Most of the people here are fine, caring individuals, but some are not parents themselves, have no formal training and deal with children in angry, abusive ways. That is all I'll say. I witnessed it first hand when no one knew I had come in the room. Several times. Find somewhere else to take your child.
