We have been here for over a week for a four month stay. Doug has been extremely helpful answering questions we have had. Laundry on sight, which is nice to have. Nice wooded setting, yet minutes to major shopping centers. Neighbors have been very nice and friendly. So far a very good experience!
We stayed for a week to visit family had a great time lots of trees and very quite and peaceful. You couldn't ask for a more friendly staff all were very helpful and accommodating we are going back on our return trip home. Well stay again next year on our way South thanks
Under new management by the owners themselves now. It's clear they are taking pride in improving their property. We live nearby so we use this park to dump our tanks for a fee when we come back from a trip. Saves us from having to wait in line as we leave our vacation campground and allows us to use our own bathroom all the way home. The owner and his adult son are very nice and helpful. Peaceful woodsy location right in between Durham and Chapel Hill. Easy access by car to either downtown (15 min drive).
I love it here, and plan to stay as long as I can. Improvements are constantly being made. There are 25,000 acres of water in two lakes only 20 miles from here. I am a fisherman, and a hunter, and the lakes are surrounded by state land to hunt on. I am also a Veteran ,and the VA Hospital is only 10mins. away. I LOVE IT HERE!
The fellow at the office today has a very abrasive personality; he treated us like we just kicked his dog or something. My wife was uncomfortable around him. I stopped by to inquire about an extended stay for three months in our new fifth wheel. While standing outside he said he didn't know when their next opening was but wouldn't even step five feet into the office to check for me. I won't be following up.
