Awesome family church! You can always expect a spirit filled praise and worship along with an on time, anointed, powerful preached Word from Pastor Nichols and warm words of inspiration from the loving 1st Lady Dr. Grace. They have a great youth ministry, which includes Children's Church during Sunday morning service, a teen ministry during Wednesday night Bible Study, and an active College Ministry. This is a church for all people. VPF also has a strong presence in the community. They host countless services and events on and off campus including a soup kitchen, food and clothing pantry, prison ministry, nursing home visits, NCCU campus pizza parties, concerts, family events and more. I'm proud to call VPF my church home.
Pastor Wil delivers a great word that is needed by the people. He has a love for God and marriage.
I have been a member of Victorious Praise for over 10 years now! I would recommend this church to anyone that is looking for it all! As I reflect back over the last 10 years, my initial thoughts of this ministry were thoughts of excitement because I finally felt that I had found a place where there was a teaching that I could understand that would help to guide me in my spiritual life. I got that and more! This church helped me to build and develop relationships (personal and business) that I will hold dearly for the rest of my life. It also teaches me by way of its dramatic arts ministry. I can't write this review without praising the music ministry in this church! There is so much more (the span is from the spiritual to the development of life skills (coming from a professional and business owner.)) To my favorite pastor, Pastor Wil and my favorite first lady, First Lady Grace, I thank you for being wonderful leaders and building the vision that has changed my life! The people are warm and friendly.. I can go on and on about the church and daycare, which my children attend. I love everything about the ministry! Come worship with us on Sunday mornings at 10am! You will not be disappointed.
Pastor Wil uses real life examples to bring scriptures to life and break them down, so everyone is able to understand them. Pastor Wil does not preach "at you," he preaches "to you." First Lady, Dr. Grace is always giving the best encouraging words.
